By Car:
From A23 - Approaching Brighton along the A23 drive south following signs to the City Centre. Pass St. Peter’s Church on your right and continue to the traffic lights opposite the Royal Pavilion. Turn left at these lights on to Edward Street. Continue straight on and the road automatically becomes Eastern Road. Pass the Royal Sussex County Hospital Complex and the centre is 200m beyond this point on your left. Access is via Brighton College Pre Prep School's main gate.
From A259 (coast road) – Follow signs for the Royal Sussex County Hospital. If travelling from the West, pass the hospital and the centre is 200m beyond this point on your left. If travelling from the East the centre is 200m before the hospital complex on your right. Access is via Brighton College Pre Prep School's main gate.
Once on the grounds the swimming pool is sign posted.
Parking:
Parking is permitted on-site for swimming lessons from the late afternoon onwards – however this can be limited and we would advise parking on nearby streets first. Please be aware you park at your own risk, we can’t be liable for any damage or theft. Parking is also allowed on the entrance road leading up to the swimming pool next to Brighton College on the below days:
Monday, Thursday, Friday: from 16:00
Tuesday: from 16:30
Saturday and Sunday: all day
If you can’t find a space, there is on-street parking that is only a £1 for 1 hour. This is reasonable compared to other streets around Brighton. There is also Wilsons avenue in Whitehawk that is free, which is about a 10 minute walk to the centre.
By Train/Bus:
There is a bus stop directly outside the Centre’s grounds and a number of services stop there: 1, 1A, 1B, 7, 14B, 14C, 25C, 37, 37B, 40X, 47, 52, 57, 71, 73, 90, 94A, N7, N99. Please be aware these may be subject to change.
The nearest train station to Brighton Swimming Centre is Brighton Station. From the station the number 7 bus stops directly outside the Centre.
